CAPTURE DETAILS:

Justin STATUM, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on March 26, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Following up on tip information, Texas DPS Special Agents assigned to the Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) Center in Houston, along with Texas Highway Patrol (THP) Troopers and members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force, located and arrested STATUM. In September 2021, STATUM was convicted of Compelling Prostitution Under Age 18 and Trafficking Child Engage Conduct/Sexual. He was subsequently sentenced to 6 years of confinement in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) prison. STATUM also has prior charges of Theft from Person, Unlawful Carrying Weapon, Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse, and Possession of Marijuana. STATUM was discharged from TDCJ prison in January 2025 and required to register as a Sex Offender on an annual basis for lifetime.STATUM had been wanted since October 2025, when a warrant was issued out of Harris County for his arrest for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon (Handgun).STATUM’s arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so a reward will be paid.
