Donald Steven EVANS, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on April 9, 2026, in Forest Hill, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including Texas DPS Special Agents and Fort Worth Police Department, located and arrested EVANS at a residence. In 1997, EVANS was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident with a 14-year-old female and subsequently sentenced to 7 years confinement. Since 2007, EVANS has been convicted multiple times for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements and sentenced to serve time in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) prison. He was discharged from TDCJ prison in January 2018. EVANS had been wanted since December 2025, after the Fort Worth Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest for two counts of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.EVANS arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
