Jose Manuel CONTRERAS GARCIA, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrant, was captured on July 20, 2025, in Houston, Texas, following a traffic stop conducted by the Harris County Constable’s Office – Precinct 1. In June 2014, CONTRERAS GARCIA was arrested by the Kenner Police Department in Louisiana on an outstanding warrant. In August 2017, CONTRERAS GARCIA was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Louisiana for Alien Inadmissibility. Subsequently, he was held in an ICE Detention Center in Louisiana and released approximately one month later.CONTRERAS GARCIA had been wanted since May 2025, when warrants were issued out of Harris County for his arrest for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Kidnapping.CONTRERAS GARCIA’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
