DETAILS:

On 09-18-2001, the Texas Rangers and the Anderson County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation into the recovery of human remains found in the trunk of an abandoned burning car on CR-3490 in rural Anderson County. Subsequent investigation positively identified the remains as Joshua Seales. An autopsy was performed and the death was ruled a homicide.
