DETAILS:

On the morning of 04-30-1997, Danydia Thompson (7 years of age) and her two cousins left her residence walking to Marlboro Heights Elementary School. Danydia did not attend school that morning. She was last seen near the school on the shoulders of an unknown black male. A search was coordinated, however, Danydia was not found. On 05-08-1997, a group of searchers found Danydia's body alongside a rural highway south of Killeen in Bell County.
