DETAILS:

On September 30, 1985, Dorothy Estep, 32, was discovered in the trunk of her car on US 84 near the Elk cutoff in McLennan County. Dorothy was the victim of a homicide and had been reported missing by a coworker when she did not show up for work or answer her phone. Dorothy’s car was a yellow, Plymouth Sapporo. Dorothy was a single mother and worked for the State of Texas as a social worker. Dorothy was last seen alive by her neighbor as she was going to pick up her daughter from her ex-husband’s home.
