DETAILS:

On 05/29/1983 at approximately 7:20 PM, Royal Taylor Cumby, Jr., was shot and killed at the intersection of 4-1/2 Street and Avenue Q in Sante Fe. The killer or killers escaped in Cumby's vehicle and it was discovered abandoned, in LaMarque, at approximately 10:00 PM. A motive for the Murder was never determined and no suspects have been identified.
