Holly   Simmons

REFERENCE NUMBER: 176 - Solved
COMPANY: F
RACE: White
SEX: Female
CITY:
COUNTY: Llano
RELATED YEAR: 2009
SUSPECTS: Jimmy Wolfenbarger

DETAILS:

On November 27, 2006, Holly Simmons, a 46-year-old female from Buchanan Dam, Llano County, Texas, dropped off her 17-year-old daughter at the school bus stop near their home. That was the last time Holly was seen alive. An extensive Missing Person investigation failed to reveal what happened to Holly. In July 2009, recreational divers found a small submerged boat underneath a bridge at the bottom of Inks Lake. Human remains found in the boat were later identified as that of Holly Simmons. An autopsy determined that Holly had been murdered.

After a lengthy investigation, Jimmy Wolfenbarger, 57, was indicted for the murder of Holly Simmons. Wolfenbarger was Holly's landlord at the time of the murder. He is currently out on bond pending trial.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
