DETAILS:

Marcos ZAVALA was last seen at a bar in Willis, Montgomery County, Texas, on 08-31-1998. He was last seen in the company of Guadalupe Pacheco, and his two adult sons, Luis and Juan Pacheco. Several days later, a brown Chevrolet S-10 pickup known to be driven by the Pacheco's was found abandoned in the City of Conroe. In the bed of the truck was pooled blood, later confirmed through DNA to be ZAVALA'S. Witnesses reported the Pacheco's returned to Mexico. ZAVALA'S body was never located, and his family in Mexico has not heard from him. Investigators presume Zavala was killed.
