DETAILS:

Sylvia Clark (50 years of age), was a loving mother of an 8 year old son, a daughter, sister and a wife. Sylvia worked as a contractor in San Antonio. On Sunday, 07-19-2009, Sylvia's husband returned to their La Vernia, Wilson County home from a trip to San Antonio and discovered her deceased inside their residence. Sylvia was last seen alive by her husband earlier on the same day preparing to go to church. An autopsy determined Sylvia's manner of death as homicide.

Update: On July 12, 2018, Gary Clark, the husband of the victim, was indicted for Murder and taken into custody by Texas Rangers and Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Investigators. On September 15, 2023, Gary Clark pled No Contest to Manslaughter before the 81st Judicial District Court in Wilson County. On January 24, 2024, Gary Clark was sentenced to 7 years, to be served in a TDCJ facility.
