Blasé Allen Wright, 21 years of age, was a 2004 graduate from Samuel Clemens High School where he was active in football and track. He was one of four siblings, having three sisters. He had previously attended St. Phillips College in San Antonio, was planning on returning and enjoyed auto mechanics. He was well liked by many and was always willing to help a friend in need. On 02-02-2007, Blase was fatally shot during an apparent burglary of his apartment. Witnesses reported seeing a black male subject leave the apartment and enter a gold colored car that was occupied by another black male passenger and a Hispanic female driver with reddish hair. A composite drawing of the female driver was obtained.
This case was extensively reinvestigated by Texas Rangers and the Universal City PD. On 08/14/2020, investigators have identified and obtained probable cause to arrest Joseph and Lara Selders, and one other male subject. A warrant was obtained for Capital Murder and all three of these subjects have been arrested.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
