DETAILS:

On 05-12-1988, a tree trimming crew discovered the remains of Carrie Anne Luckey, an 18 year old white female, in a northwest Tarrant County field. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner listed the cause of death as multiple stab wounds. In 2022, DNA testing resulted in a CODIS match which identified the suspect as Michael Hernandez. It was later confirmed Hernandez died earlier that year.
