DETAILS:

On 11/12/1992, the body of Raymond Adolph Lightner was located at his residence on Kimbro Street in Taylor, Williamson County, Texas by a home health care worker. Lightner’s body had injuries which were consistent with being murdered. Lightner was an eighty-one-year-old who lived by himself. Lightner recently returned to his home after being placed in an assisted living center following a medical procedure for glaucoma. Lightner had family in the Austin and Taylor area which he kept in frequent contact with. Lightner spoke with a member of his family and a friend the evening before he was found deceased.
