On Thursday, November 28, 1996, Kristen Lea Wilson, 29, was supposed to meet her family for Thanksgiving Day dinner. After several hours passed and she still had not arrived for dinner, Kristen’s parents drove to her apartment in southwest Houston. They arrived and discovered her front door unlocked. They entered the apartment and found Kristen deceased on the floor in her bedroom. It appeared that Kristen had just arrived home. She was partially nude and may have been sexually assaulted.
