On November 6th 1987 the body of Ester Darlene Collins was found inside a model home in the 22000 Block of Kent Falls in Harris County. Ms. Collins, a 35 year old divorced mother of two worked as a successful real estate agent and on the day of her death was meeting clients in the new subdivision that was still under construction. Ms. Collins was found stabbed to death in a bedroom of the home, a motive for the crime has not been determined, and it is believed that she was killed between noon and 430 PM on that date. Numerous leads have been followed after an extensive investigation by the Harris County Sheriffs Office to no avail. In 2021 The Harris County Sheriff's Office requested the Texas Rangers join in the investigation.
