DETAILS:

On 09/06/1968, Floyd Telle was the owner of the local Gulf filling station. Telle was known to carry a large amount of cash on his person for cashing checks and change at the station.

In the evening of 09/06/1968, Three persons entered the Telle residence and demanded money. During the confrontation, Telle was shot and killed. Telle's wife, who was also at the residence was restrained and left alive at the residence.

It is believed the suspects got away with a large amount of cash.

Texas Rangers and Reagan County Sheriff's Department have continued to investigate the murder of Telle and have developed several leads. We are asking the public for more information in effort to find justice in this cold case capital murder.
