DETAILS:

On 10/31/2001 Daniel Whitehead was shot to death in the driveway of a Galena Park residence. Two masked men exited a vehicle, which was driven by a third suspect, and shot Whitehead to death. All three suspects fled the scene of the shooting in the unidentified motor vehicle. Forensic evidence has linked Whitehead's Murder to a related Houston Police Department Murder that occurred on 11/04/2001. Jose Jesus Cortez was developed as a suspect and is currently wanted for questioning in this case.
