On 08/08/1984, a deceased female body was discovered on US-67 approximately 6 miles east of Big Lake. The deceased was identified in 1989 to be Jacqueline Lambert from Killeen, Texas. Lambert had been either struck by a vehicle or thrown from a vehicle. A person of interest has been identified but no arrests have been made.
