DETAILS:

In 1997 Jessica Cain was reported missing after leaving a party for a high school musical in Clear Lake, Texas. Jessica had apparently been abducted.

In 2015 this case was adopted into the Texas Ranger Unsolved Crime Investigation Program (Cold Case). The Ranger worked closely with other law enforcement agencies and prosecutors involved in this investigation. The case was solved in 2016. Jessica’s remains have been recovered. Suspected serial killer William Reece has been charged in this crime. Trial is pending.

Persons arrested for a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
