DETAILS:

On May 22, 1983, in the morning hours, an employee arrived at the "PoFolks" Restaurant in Balcones Heights, Texas to find that the manager had been murdered. Charles Bates, 51, had been stabbed to death inside the restaurant. Cash had been taken. Investigators believe that someone known to Bates may have murdered him. No witnesses were found to the crime. Balcones Heights is a suburban city next to San Antonio.
