On Sunday, 08-25-2002, at approximately 2:00 AM, Enedelia BENAVIDES and Michael Jason BUCKELEW were in a trailer house located in the 6300 block of Gold Avenue in Edinburg, Texas. Anunknown person(s) entered the residence and fatally shot BENAVIDES and BUCKELEW.Said person(s) also shot and critically injured a third person before leavingthe residence. BENAVIDES and BUCKELEW had recently arrived in Edinburg from Houston. BENAVIDES and BUCKELEW were deaf and mute.
