Jack Earl STERNS, Jr., a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Crips gang, was taken into custody on June 20, 2018. Following up on tip information, STERNS was apprehended by officers from the Nacogdoches Police Department at a residence in Nacogdoches, Texas.STERNS is a violent offender with a history of arrests for assault, weapons, drug possession, and evading arrest offenses. STERNS has served time in TDCJ prison on multiple occasions, and was last released on parole in June 2016.STERNS had been wanted by the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles for Parole Violation since December 6, 2017. In addition, STERNS had been wanted out of Nacogdoches County for Aggravated Robbery (2 Counts) and Evading Arrest with Prior Conviction.The arrest was the result of tip information received through Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid.
