Timothy Wayne KIRKSEY, a high-risk sex offender affiliated with the Tree Top Piru Bloods gang, was captured on October 29, 2023, by the Houston Police Department in Houston, Texas.In 2007, KIRKSEY was convicted of Robbery and Assault of a Public Servant and subsequently sentenced to three years’ confinement for each offense, served concurrently. In 2012, he was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child after an incident involving a 16-year-old female. He subsequently received a five-year sentence in TDCJ. In 2021, KIRKSEY was convicted of Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and subsequently sentenced to 45 days’ confinement and two years’ confinement, served concurrently.KIRKSEY had been wanted since September 19, 2023, when a warrant was issued in Harris County for his arrest for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.KIRKSEY’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
