Takim Allah PEDEN, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on December 18, 2025, in Garland, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested PEDEN. Garland Police Department, Mansfield Police Department, Dallas Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, and TDCJ – Office of Inspector General (OIG) all assisted in the fugitive investigation.In 2018, PEDEN was convicted of two counts of Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact following an incident with a 9-year-old girl and subsequently sentenced to 3 years confinement. In 2014, PEDEN was convicted of Aggravated Kidnapping Bodily Injury and subsequently sentenced to 60 months’ probation. PEDEN had been wanted since August 2025, when a warrant was issued for his arrest out of Tarrant County for Probation Violation (Original Offense: Aggravated Kidnapping Bodily Injury). Additionally, in September 2025, a warrant was issued for PEDEN’s arrest out of Dallas County for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.PEDEN’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
