Zachary Michael BOYETT, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on March 20, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office located and apprehended BOYETT at a residence in southeast Dallas. The Sulphur Springs Police Department provided assistance in the investigation.In July 2015, BOYETT was convicted in Rockwall County of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child after an incident involving a 13-year-old girl. He subsequently received a 5-year sentence in TDCJ prison. BOYETT was released on parole in June 2017 and is required to register as a sex offender annually for life.BOYETT had been wanted since August 13, 2018, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation (Original Offense: Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child). An additional warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender was issued on August 16, 2018, by the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office.The arrest was not from tip information received through Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
