Samuel James MORENO, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Tango Blast (Austin) gang, was captured on April 8, 2024, in Austin, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested MORENO. MORENO has a history of felony convictions, including Assault Causes Bodily Injury, Unlawful Restraint, and Assault Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction. He had been wanted since October 2023, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for his arrest. MORENO’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.

To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following methods:

• Submit a web tip through the Texas 10 Most Wanted website or Facebook page • Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App
