CAPTURE DETAILS:

Juan Carlos HUERTA, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on 3/26/2024, in Amarillo, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested HUERTA. The Amarillo Police Department assisted in the multi-agency investigation. In 2016, HUERTA was convicted of Burglary of Habitation and subsequently sentenced to four years’ probation. HUERTA had been wanted since December 2023, after multiple warrants were issued for his arrest out of Potter County for one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, four counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact, and one count of Indecency with a Child by Exposure. HUERTA’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
