Charles Terrance GARY, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on January 31, 2026, by the Austin Police Department, in Austin, Texas.In 2019, GARY was court-martialed by the United States Army for multiple offenses, including Attempted Sexual Assault of a Child involving a six-year-old girl and a nine-year-old girl. As a result of his conviction, GARY received a bad conduct discharge and was subsequently sentenced to prison. In June 2023, GARY was arrested in Travis County for a Sex Offender Registration Violation.GARY had been wanted since August 2025, when the Austin Police Department issued a warrant for GARY’s arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. GARY’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
