CAPTURE DETAILS:

Deon Donell HARRIS, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on September 17, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested HARRIS at an apartment complex. TDCJ-OIG, Texas Attorney General’s Office, and the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office assisted in this multi-agency fugitive investigation.In 2014, HARRIS was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident with a 16-year-old girl. He was initially sentenced to 6 years’ probation. In 2017, his probation was revoked and subsequently sentenced to 3 years confinement.HARRIS had been wanted since April 2025, when a warrant was issued out of Comal County for his arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance. Additionally, in May 2025, a warrant was issued out of Bexar County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.HARRIS’ arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
