Jesse PENA Jr., a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on May 12, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, Bexar County Sheriff's Office, Texas Attorney General's Office, and TBCJ-Office of Inspector General (OIG), located and arrested PENA. In October 2017, PENA was convicted in Bexar County of Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident with a 16-year-old female and subsequently received 5 years of probation. In November 2018, his probation was revoked and he was subsequently sentenced to 5 years confinement in TDCJ prison. PENA’s criminal history also includes charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft of Property, and Possession of Marijuana. PENA had been wanted since February 2026, after a warrant was issued out of Bexar County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. PENA's capture was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
