Christian Johan BJORGAARD, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was taken into custody on April 5, 2019, near Terlton, Oklahoma (Pawnee County), located in northeastern Oklahoma.BJORGAARD has been convicted in the past of Indecency with a Child-Sexual Contact and Attempt to Commit Sexual Assault in connection to incidents involving a 6-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl. He was last discharged from TDCJ in 2015 and is required to register as a sex offender for life. BJORGAARD had been wanted since July 2018 after a warrant for his arrest was issued in Nueces County for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Additional warrants were later issued for his arrest in Nacogdoches County for Release of Surety (Original Offenses: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon and Assault-Family Violence).The arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward was paid.
