CAPTURE DETAILS:

Edward Wallace LUCERO, a high-risk sex offender, was taken into custody on June 5, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, located and apprehended LUCERO without incident at an apartment complex in southeast San Antonio.In September 2009, LUCERO was convicted in Noble County, Indiana, of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor after an incident involving a 15-year-old girl.After being discharged in 2013 from the Indiana Department of Correction, LUCERO was arrested for violating his sex offender registration requirements and was placed on federal probation.LUCERO had been wanted since November 2017 by the San Antonio Police Department for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. LUCERO had also been wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for Probation Violation (Original Offense: Sex Offender Registration Violation).The arrest was not the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.

• Submit a web tip through the Texas 10 Most Wanted website or Facebook page • Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App
