Jeremy Edwin EVANS, 31, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive from the Bryan/College Station area, was captured on March 12, 2019. Working off investigative information developed by DPS Special Agents, members of the U.S. Marshals Service New Orleans Task Force (NOTF) located and apprehended EVANS at a residence in New Orleans, Louisiana.In 2010, EVANS was convicted in Brazos County of two counts of Aggravated Robbery. He subsequently received two 11-year sentences in TDCJ to be served concurrently. EVANS was released on parole from TDCJ in August 2017.EVANS had been wanted since January 8, 2018, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for EVANS’ arrest for Parole Violation (Original Offenses: Aggravated Robbery x2). On February 2, 2018, a warrant was issued in Brazos County for EVANS for Surety to Surrender (Original Offense: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon).The arrest was not the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
