Raul Alejandro MARTINEZ, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on August 20, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas, by the San Antonio Police Department.In 1994, MARTINEZ was convicted of Sexual Assault in Wisconsin after an incident involving a 13-year-old girl. He subsequently was sentenced to 54 months in the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. In 2015, MARTINEZ relocated to Laredo and registered as a sex offender with law enforcement.Seven (7) felony warrants had been issued for MARTINEZ's arrest since June 2018, including two warrants by the Laredo Police Department for Sexual Assault; three warrants by the Webb County Sheriff’s Office (two counts of Indecency with a Child and one count for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender); one warrant by the US Marshals Service for Probation Violation; and one warrant by Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.The arrest was not the result of tip information received through Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
