The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) will once again host the Texas Emergency Management Conference (TEMC) in San Antonio, Texas on April 15 – 18, 2019. Individuals will have the opportunity to interact with exhibitors and vendors, network with emergency management professionals, and attend presentations focused on current issues, lessons learned, creative best practices, and participant interaction.
Nominations will open soon for the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) awards to be presented at the Texas Emergency Management Conference on Monday April 15, 2019. All awards focus on recognizing citizens, emergency management professionals and organizations for outstanding service within the emergency management community. The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) will hold a photo contest during the 2019 Texas Emergency Management Conference (TEMC). This award recognizes the best photo as voted on by conference attendees.
The 2019 Texas Emergency Management Conference (TEMC) – hosted by Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) takes place Monday, April 15 – Thursday, April 18 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. The exhibit hall opens Monday April 15 for conference attendees and dismantles the afternoon of Wednesday April 17.
TEMC attracts over 2,500 elected officials, first responders, emergency managers, and decision makers from across Texas. The conference provides jurisdictions an opportunity to see and learn about innovative products and services from organizations such as yours. The success of TEMC has always been due in large part to our exhibitors, and we certainly hope to include your organization among those that will help make the 2019 conference better than ever! The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) is accepting proposals for the 2019 Texas Emergency Management Conference (TEMC). Presentations focused on current issues, lessons learned, creative best practices, and participant interaction are strongly encouraged and will be given preference. Multiple submissions are welcome.
Breakout sessions are 60 minutes in length. Room setup for the breakout sessions will be classroom or theater style. Standard A/V equipment will be provided in each room including a laptop, projector, screen, and microphone. Internet is not provided.
The Speaker Application is a form-fillable PDF which must be submitted by entering all information and clicking the "SUBMIT" button at the bottom of page three.
The application must be filled out completely to be considered. The deadline to submit a proposal is no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
