Jason Allen REED, affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas gang, was captured on June 10, 2019, in Silver City, New Mexico.Working off investigative information, Silver City Police Department officers and U.S. Marshals – District of New Mexico deputies, located and apprehended REED near a residence in Silver City. DPS Special Agents and U.S. Marshals – Eastern District of Texas deputies assisted in the investigation.In February 2016, REED was arrested by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child after an incident involving his alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.REED had been wanted since May 25, 2017, after a warrant was issued in Kaufman County for his arrest for Bond Forfeiture (Original Offense: Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child).The arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
