CAPTURE DETAILS:

Robert HAYES, a registered sex offender and violent offender, was taken into custody on February 25, 2016, by Cass County SO in Harrisonville, Missouri. HAYES was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list on January 19, 2016.
HAYES was released from the South Texas Intermediate Sanction Facility in Houston, TX, on October 23, 2015, and was scheduled to arrive the following day at a halfway house in El Paso, TX. He never arrived. According to his ankle monitor, his last GPS location was Junction, TX, where he removed the monitor and absconded.
In 1998, HAYES was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child after an incident in Nebraska involving an 11-year-old female. He subsequently was sentenced to 3 years in Nebraska state prison.
Prior to being incarcerated in TDCJ prison in 2013 for failing to register as a sex offender in Texas, HAYES had resided in Amarillo, TX, and the Albuquerque, NM area.
HAYES was wanted out of NM for Probation Violation and for FTA-Armed Robbery and Agg. Battery (Deadly Weapon). He was also wanted out of Texas for Parole Violation.
