Billy Don URANGO is a convicted sex offender required to register every three months for life. URANGO has been wanted since June 2017 when he absconded from his last known address in Dallas. He also has ties to other parts of north Texas, including Grayson County; Tarrant County; and Wichita Falls. URANGO is also believed to have ties to south-central Oklahoma, including the Ardmore area.In 2010, URANGO was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child (two counts) and Indecency with a Child - Sexual Contact after an incident in Grayson County involving an 11-year-old boy. In addition, he was also convicted in 2010 of Indecency with a Child – Exposure. URANGO was subsequently sentenced to 10 years in TDCJ prison. He was released on parole from TDCJ in June 2016 and was residing at a halfway house in Dallas before absconding.On June 8, 2017, a Parole Violation warrant for URANGO's arrest was issued by the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles. Additional warrants have since been issued by Dallas County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Service for URANGO's arrest for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
