Kevin STOESER, a fugitive on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list since November 2013, has had his identity confirmed to be deceased. A human skull found near the Colorado River in Austin, Texas was sent to the Department of Forensic and Investigative Genetics at the University of North Texas for DNA testing. Based off results received, the Travis County Medical Examiner's determined the skull was STOESER's.

STOESER was identified as a high-risk sex offender who posed a significant risk to the community for violent sexual offenses. He was convicted of numerous sexual crimes, including Indecent Liberties, Sodomy, Attempt to Entice a Minor to Engage in Sexual Activity, Production of Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography, and Carnal Knowledge.

In October 2013, STOESER escaped from federal supervision, in Austin, Texas. In addition to being a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, the U.S. Marshals Service had also added STOESER to its 15 Most Wanted fugitive list.

To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following methods:
• Call the Texas Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477) • Text the letters "DPS"- followed by your tip – to 274637 (CRIMES)
• Submit a web tip through the Texas 10 Most Wanted website or Facebook page • Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App
All tips are anonymous – regardless of how they are submitted, and tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.
Callers’ anonymity is guaranteed by law and you could earn up to the CASH REWARD amount listed for each fugitive.
