CAPTURE DETAILS:

Kevin Wayne MATTHEWS, a confirmed Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (ABT) gang member, was captured on October 5, 2016. Special Agents from the Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) apprehended MATTHEWS without incident at a location on the northwest side of Houston.
MATTHEWS had been wanted out of Liberty County since November 3, 2015, for multiple counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. In addition, MATTHEWS was also wanted for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon and Deadly Conduct (Discharge a Firearm).
MATTHEWS has a history of felony convictions, including Burglary, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Evading Arrest, and Theft.

The arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid.
