$10,000 Reward Offered for Most Wanted Fugitive, Gang Member from Abilene Area

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Cory James Fisher, 35, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list, and a cash reward up to $10,000 is now being offered for information leading to his capture. The Gangster Disciples gang member has a lengthy criminal past, and is wanted for possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence and parole violation. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

Fisher has ties to the Abilene area, Ville Platte, La., and Hot Springs, Ark. He has previously worked masonry and janitorial jobs, and his criminal history includes aggravated robbery, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by felon and evading arrest. Fisher is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 195 pounds. Fisher has frequently used the alias of Cory Ladey, and he may be known by that name in the Abilene area. He has a full sleeve tattoo on his right forearm and various other tattoos on his chest, arms and legs.

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
