CAPTURE DETAILS: Cory James FISHER, a confirmed member of the Gangster Disciples gang, was taken into custody without incident on June 10, 2014, in Ville Platte, Louisiana. FISHER was taken into custody by the Ville Platte Police Department and the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Department. FISHER had an extensive criminal history involving dangerous drugs.

On January 8, 2014, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation (Original Offense: Cocaine – Sell). On April 17, 2014, the Justice Court, in and for Precinct 1, Place 1, in Abilene, Texas (Taylor County), issued surety withdrawal warrants for FISHER’s arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair.
