CAPTURE DETAILS: On February 25, 2013, Joseph Daniel KRUEGER was added to the most wanted list with a reward amount of $10,000. KRUEGER, a confirmed member of the Texas Mexican Mafia, had violated terms of his state parole and a warrant was issued for his arrest on October 31, 2012.

On February 25, 2013, at approximately 10:00 PM, the Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division, along with members of the US Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, located KRUEGER hiding inside a vehicle outside of a residence in Blanco, Texas. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Blanco County Jail. During the arrest, police discovered a small amount of suspected heroin inside KRUEGER’s pants pocket.

Immediately after KRUEGER was added to the most wanted list, tips began to come in; however, none of them led to KRUEGER's arrest and so no reward will be paid.

To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following methods:
• Call the Texas Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477) • Text the letters "DPS"- followed by your tip – to 274637 (CRIMES) • Submit a web tip through the Texas 10 Most Wanted website or Facebook page • Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App
All tips are anonymous – regardless of how they are submitted, and tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.
Callers’ anonymity is guaranteed by law and you could earn up to the CASH REWARD amount listed for each fugitive.
These fugitives should be considered Armed and Dangerous! Never try to apprehend a fugitive yourself.
