CAPTURE DETAILS: Rickey Lynn JOHNSON, a Crips gang member was added to the most wanted fugitive list on 08/28/2012.  Wanted by the Texas Pardon and Parole Board for a Parole Violation since April of 2010.

2 weeks after being added to the most wanted list with a $7,500 reward for his capture a tip was received on 09/11/2012.  At approximately 2:00PM, TX DPS CID Lieutenant and Agent acting on information received via a Crime Stoppers Tip, traveled to the vicinity of the Villa Del Sol Apartment Complex also known as Mira Vista located on Antoinette Street, Dallas, Texas reference information received on Ricky Lynn JOHNSON.

At approximately 3:10PM, JOHNSON was observed walking with a female later identified as Lavota Evonne YARBOUGH. Agent Nelson and Lt. Armstrong made contact and placed JOHNSON into custody. YARBOUGH was also found to be a fugitive wanted out of Dallas County Sheriff’s Department on numerous misdemeanor warrants. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department Correctional Facility in Dallas, Texas.
Since this arrest was the result of a tip, the tipster will be paid $7,500.00
