He is a Latin Kings gang member and he was wanted for Parole Violation by the Texas Pardon and Parole Board and Possession of Controlled Substance by the Brazos County SO. PINEDA had a reward amount set for $7,500 and on Tuesday at 6:26 pm a tip was received placing PINEDA at a residence in Bryan, TX. Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Agent, Texas Rangers and Bryan PD secured the area with covert surveillance. A knock and talk was conducted by CID, Rangers and Bryan PD. PINEDA refused to answer the door and a Special Response Team (SRT) from region 2 was called to the scene. After a brief standoff PINEDA surrendered to authorities without incident and walked out of the residence.
