Details:

Michael Christopher SANCHEZ, a Latin Kings gang member and Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was taken into custody following a traffic stop on February 22, 2017, by Texas DPS Highway Patrol (THP) in Bryan, Texas. SANCHEZ evaded arrest following the traffic stop, however, was apprehended a short time later in a fenced in parking lot nearby. DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Special Agents and the Bryan Police Department also assisted in the apprehension.

SANCHEZ had been wanted since September 2015 by the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles for Parole Violation (Original Offense: Possession of a Controlled Substance). SANCHEZ was also wanted out of Bryan County for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.

SANCHEZ has a history of arrests for Burglary, Assault, Dangerous Drugs, and Evading Arrest.

The arrest was the result of tip information received through Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid.
