Douglas Alexander HERRERA-HERNANDEZ aka "Terror", a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member, was captured on the morning of July 29, 2017, just west of Arlington, Virginia. He had been wanted in connection to two murders in the Houston, Texas area. HERRERA-HERNANDEZ is an El Salvadorian national who has been residing illegally in the U.S.

Working off investigative information, law enforcement authorities with the Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) Center in Houston, including Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID), FBI-Houston, and Houston PD, coordinated efforts with authorities near Arlington, Virginia, to locate and apprehend HERRERA-HERNANDEZ.

On July 29, 2016, a Murder warrant for HERRERA-HERNANDEZ's arrest was issued by the 240th District Court in Fort Bend County in connection to a shooting in Missouri City on June 13, 2016.

On July 19, 2017, a second Murder warrant for HERRERA-HERNANDEZ's arrest was issued by the 262nd District Court in Harris County in connection to a separate murder that occurred July 9, 2017.
