Details:

Briggs Clinton LAWHON, added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list on June 26, 2017, was captured in Angleton, Texas, on July 13, 2017. Members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, took LAWHON into custody without incident. Brazoria County Sheriff's Office deputies also assisted in the arrest.

LAWHON is affiliated with the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMG) and has a lengthy criminal history consisting of felony convictions for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Burglary of a Habitation, and Delivery of Methamphetamine. LAWHON has ties to the Victoria/Calhoun County areas, Pleasanton, Texas, and also to Anderson County, including the city of Palestine.

On February 18, 2016, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for LAWHON's arrest for Parole Violation. LAWHON had also been wanted by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office for Theft since December 2015.

The arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid.
