CAPTURE DETAILS: Jerry Don HOLMES, added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list in April 2014, was taken into custody on June 20, 2015, by the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office in Tulsa, Oklahoma. HOLMES was found residing in an RV Trailer. He had been a wanted fugitive since June 2012.

In 1996, HOLMES was found guilty of Indecency with a Child by Exposure from an incident involving a 13-year-old boy. He received 5 years' probation. In 1998, he violated probation and was sentenced to 2 years' confinement in TDCJ prison. In 2011, while residing in Livingston, Texas, he assaulted a family member by grabbing her neck and choking her.

HOLMES was wanted out of Polk County for Assault of a Family/House Member and for Bond Surrender Forfeiture. He was wanted out of San Jacinto County for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.

The arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid.
