CAPTURE DETAILS: James Anthony RUBIO, a sexually violent predator with previous military training, was apprehended today after a tip was received placing him in Bandera, Texas. The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, along with the Bandera County Sheriff's Office, surrounded the residence where RUBIO was hiding. RUBIO jumped out of a back window and ran approximately 20 yards before being taken into custody. He was subsequently transported to the Bandera County Jail without incident. The tipster will receive a reward amount of $5,000 for providing information that led to RUBIO's arrest.

RUBIO had warrants for Sex Offense, Failure to Comply with Civil Commitment Requirements, and Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration. He was placed on the Most Wanted list on October 1, 2012, and his arrest is the first Most Wanted arrest for 2013.
